12:10 PM CASE STUDY: Preparing for a Digital Future with Australia’s First Digital Transformation Centre: Partnership between DXC Technology & Swinburne University

The DXC Digital Transformation Centre at Swinburne (DTC) will advance digital innovation to foster a new culture of research development and translation in Australia. It will allow researchers and students to develop and apply digital transformation solutions to solve real-world problems across a range of businesses, industry and government sectors. This session will explore:

An outside-in approach to capacity-based staffing to deliver outcomes quicker, growing inhouse capabilities and fostering innovation
Working collaboratively with industry partners to design and develop digital solutions from ideation through to implementation
A co-design and co-creation approach to solving major challenges drawing upon expertise from a multi disciplinary research ecosystem
Key pillars of measuring research success within the DTC and how the data can be used to inform future research demands
Development of new talent pool of students who will aim to support the evolving needs of workforces and communities as they prepare for a digital future
