Ahead of the Research Innovation and Commercialisation Summit 2019 we
chat to Peter Devine, CEO at Uniseed. Uniseed, who partners with five major
research organisations across Australia, including UNSW, the University of
Melbourne, the University of Queensland, the University of Sydney and the
CSIRO, is a unique
commercialisation fund helping researchers turn their ideas into products and
services.
Peter has
been part of the research innovation sector for over 30 years, working in four
biotech startups, with a stint in academia, working as a researcher at the
University of Queensland. Since then Peter has been with Uniseed for 15 years,
with 10 of these as CEO. Below Peter shares his top tips for writing a
successful research proposal and delves into how researchers can best
collaborate with industry to drive innovation and commerciality.
